5 Ways To Make Your Wedding Day Memorable

We have all heard it form past brides: "The whole day was a blur, I barely remember anything!" No one wants that right? Of course not! So, here are a few tips to ensure that your day is smooth sailing and is one to remember!

#1 Plan.

I know, I know. This one seems obvious, but I mean it. Be organized and diligent with getting all the details worked out ahead of time. It will save you so much stress on the day of if everything is already in order.

#2 Delegate.

A huge reason why brides don't remember their wedding day is because they were so stressed about every detail of the day. To avoid this, delegate tasks to multiple people. The goal is for you to be able to relax and do nothing but get glam the whole day leading up to the ceremony. There is no reason you should be worrying if the cake has arrived or what you are going to eat for lunch.

#3 Make a point person.

Someone outside of the wedding party and immediate family that has a copy of the schedule and can make sure things are running smooth. You can also hire a day-of coordinator. They are wonderful creatures.

#4 Talk with vendors ahead of time.

Get and give as much details to vendors prior to the wedding day. There is nothing more stressful than a vendor showing up not knowing what is going on or wondering if they are going to get a final payment. Have as much squared away with everyone as possible. Also, refer back to #2, and if you need to do some last minute payments, ect. with vendors the day of- let someone else handle it.

#5 Remember to BREATHE.

Remember why this is happening. This is about you and your love celebrating the start of your lives together. Once you lock eyes walking down the isle, I promise no one will notice or care if the flowers are wrong or the cake isn't what you expected. So if you are feeling overwhelmed, take a step back and BREATHE!
