Hi! I'm Lexi, wife and momma to the coolest people I know. My husband Chase and I have been married since 2014, and in March 2020 (yep) we welcomed our sweet and spicy little girl Athena just two weeks before 2020 turned into the craziest year ever.
To get to know me a little better, here's 3 random facts about me!
- I LOVE finding hidden gem coffee shops. Any time we travel anywhere, we always make sure to hit all the coffee shops in the area! I am a sucker for a cute interior, but I'm also a bit of a coffee snob! <y go to order is an iced americano with a splash of half and half.
- I love music. I may or may not have a Spotify playlist for every mood, and if we are friends in real life I've probably made you a playlist of songs I think you'll love.
- Our little family loves to have park picnics. We love to just sit and enjoy the fresh air, people watch, and soak in some family time. We started this when Athena was about 4 months old, and I want to continue going every free chance we get until she thinks she's too cool for us!
My photography philosophy:
Especially after having our little one, I am a big believer in freezing precious moments in time. Life moves faster than the blink of an eye, and more than ever I find myself wanting to keep every part tucked away in my mind forever.
My lifestyle portraits embody that feeling: freezing time. I want to showcase all the things you love about where you are right now. The love between you and your partner, the little curls at the back of your baby girl's neck, the toothy smile of your little boy, your growing baby bump. All of it.
During a session with me, you will rarely see me ask you all to look at the camera and smile perfectly all in a row. I am much more interested in capturing true joy and happy moments, and I want you to actually enjoy your photo session and feel comfortable and relaxed! Get ready for some silly jokes and bad dance moves, because I love to be goofy and have fun during our time together!
I love rich, warm earthy tones in my photos. Because of this, there are certain colors combos that really make my editing pop! I often help my clients with styling for their session. This is totally optional though, so feel free to wear whatever you want and I can make your vision come to reality!
